Purpose of the Role

This role will be part of the Plant finance team, responsible for driving cost efficiency, SAP implementation, Budgetary control, on-time payment compliances & ensuring compliances of SOP, DOA & Indirect taxation.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Drive SAP implementation for Manufacturing, Product costing, Material Ledger, COPA in collaboration with Process Excellence and business teams and supporting UAT, cross-over and go live
• Budgeting, monitoring, controlling and allocation of cost to respective spend categories, reporting this to the project team and business stakeholders
• Define system and processes for overhead cost capturing and allocation to products basis cost drivers in SAP
• Carry out Product costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis
• Gathering insight from operational stakeholders to give narrative to reporting
• Collaborate within Finance functions to support period end activities and audit compliances
• Liaise with procurement, CMC, Project team, Treasury and vendor teams on BG, Advances, timely payout, compliances
• Ensure compliances as per DOA (Delegation of Authority).
• Ensure Indirect taxation compliances for Operations and Capex spend. Ensuring maximisation of Input tax credit in close liaison with all stakeholders  
• Prepare periodic MIS reports covering Operations, Capex, payable status, GST ITC utilization, and payment forecasts
• Candidate should be able to drive assigned activities independently as well as a team player

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of capital expenditure accounting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP S/4 HANA).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Power Point and accounting tools.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.
