Purpose of the Role

      The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, influencing all levels of the organization, and fostering a culture of engagement and excellence. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship management skills who can navigate ambiguity while providing structure and guidance. The HRBP will collaborate closely with leadership and stakeholders to enhance organizational effectiveness and support the overall workforce strategy.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR policies and practices that drive the strategic growth of the business.
  • Employee Engagement: Champion a culture of excellence by connecting with employees, understanding their needs, and fostering an environment where they feel inspired to achieve top business results.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a single touchpoint for employee-related grievances and concerns, providing coaching, guidance, and escalation support as needed.
  • Employee Relations: Work closely with line managers to address a range of employee relations issues, balancing the interests of all parties while offering strategic insights on organizational and people-related strategies.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse and interpret employee data (e.g., compensation, job levels, attrition) to inform decision-making and provide proactive solutions for the client group.
  • Communication: Provide timely information and education on HR topics to all levels of the organization, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Collaboration with HR COEs: Partner with HR Centres of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Training & Development, Rewards, and Employee Relations) to align people processes and deliver on overall HR priorities.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential
• 5-8 years of post-qualification HR partnering experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a detail-oriented and organized approach.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Solid business acumen and the capacity to think strategically about HR interventions.
• Experience designing and delivering HR solutions aligned with business priorities.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive mindset, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency and challenge the status quo.

Qualification

• Full-time degree/MBA in Human Resources or a related field from a reputable institution.
