We are looking for an Application Software (ASW) Test Engineer with strong embedded testing experience for Electric Vehicle (EV) and Battery Management System (BMS) applications. The role focuses on validating functional features, safety functions, and control algorithms to ensure reliable software performance.
Key Responsibility Areas
Develop test plans, test cases, and test procedures for ASW modules
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing
Execute test cases on HIL systems (e.g., dSPACE, NI, Vector)
Validate control algorithms, state machines, and diagnostics
Debug issues and provide clear failure analysis with logs and tracesWork closely with ASW developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes
Ensure compliance with safety & quality standards (ISO 26262)
Prepare test reports, defect summaries, and traceability documentation
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Strong understanding of Embedded C/C++, Autosar ASW fundamentals
Hands-on experience in HIL tools (dSPACE ControlDesk, NI VeriStand, Vector VT)
Experience with CAN tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CAPL scripting)
Python/MATLAB scripting for automation (good to have)
Understanding of BMS functions: SOC, SOH, balancing, protection, thermal control
Familiarity with requirement management tools (Polarion/Doors)
4–8 years of experience in ASW testing for Automotive / EV domain
