What you’ll do…

The L&D Technical Writer plays a key role in supporting global training and workforce capability by creating clear, structured, and engaging technical learning content.
You will be responsible for translating complex operational and technical information into accessible documentation that supports onboarding, upskilling, and day-to-day performance across our organisation. 


Working closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and operational teams, you will gather and structure information to develop high‑quality learning materials, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and usability across all documentation. 
You will also play a key role in maintaining documentation standards, updating materials in line with operational changes, and ensuring that learning content remains relevant, effective, and aligned with business needs.

 

  • Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, user guides, and reference documentation
  • Translate complex technical and operational content into clear, learner-focused documentation
  • Collaborate with SMEs, L&D, and operational teams to gather and validate content
  • Produce learning content across different formats (guides, presentations, diagrams)
  • Maintain a structured and up-to-date documentation library
  • Ensure consistency in style, terminology, and structure across all materials
  • Review and update documentation to reflect process and system changes
  • Support training delivery by aligning documentation with learning objectives
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of learning content and materials

What you’ll bring…

Essential

  • Experience as a Technical Writer or Learning Content Developer
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear documentation
  • Experience working closely with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams
  • Strong written communication and editing skills
  • High level of attention to detail and structured approach
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) 

Desired

  • Experience in technical or manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to learning & development or training environments
  • Familiarity with tools such as Visio or similar diagramming tools
  • Qualification in Technical Writing, L&D, Education, Communications, or technical discipline
