What you'll do..

An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Principal Process Engineer to join the Global Process Engineering function within Agratas. You will be on the forefront of designing, creating and implementing a brand-new manufacturing facility within an emerging industry.

This role will require you to work in a cross functional and global environment. You will be joining the function responsible for ensuring the battery facility has the production equipment to meet its customer demands. To do this, you will build key relationships internally to understand core requirements for manufacturing, and externally with vendors, customers and partners.

At the scale of this project, you will not only be delivering complex and cutting-edge technologies but also ensuring that this can be implemented successfully in a completely new environment.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • To be the primary subject matter expert for a specific manufacturing process area and be the technical authority in process development, scale up and optimisation
  • Lead the process design efforts, implementation, commissioning and ramp-up of manufacturing equipment and capability
  • Develop the manufacturing process, including the design, control strategy and risk mitigation activity for key areas of the end-to-end production process
  • Work closely with equipment vendors and technical partners to ensure the production process is delivered to target.
  • Conduct detailed process analysis and modeling to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the engineering team.
