What you'll do...

As Quality Manager – Calibration & Measuring Systems, you will lead the setup and development of the Calibration and MSA capability from the ground up within a new manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and continuous improvement of process and laboratory instrumentation (chemical, mechanical and electrical), while also establishing robust Measurement System Analysis (MSA) practices to support manufacturing quality and product validation.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a critical role from new product introduction through to full-scale production, ensuring measurement systems are capable, reliable and compliant.

Reporting to the Head of Plant Quality, key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop all activities within Calibration & Measuring Systems, building processes, standards and capability from the ground up
  • Ensure calibration of utility, process and laboratory instrumentation
  • Define, implement and continuously improve MSA strategy, standards and studies (e.g. R&R, bias, linearity, stability)
  • Act as the go-to expert for measurement system capability, supporting engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Support installation, qualification and validation of new equipment (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Analyse calibration and MSA data, identifying risks, trends and improvement actions
  • Implement and maintain ISO systems within quality labs (including ISO/IEC 17025 / UKAS readiness)
  • Support LIMS deployment across quality functions
  • Collaborate with global sites to share best practices and build aligned standards
