Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. We will design, develop and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries for the mobility and energy sectors. We are a scale-up business with a start-up mentality and the backing of a well-established parent company. The UK business headquarters is in the Midlands and we are currently building a battery manufacturing facility in Bridgwater, Somerset.
What you'll bring...
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation & Control Engineering, , Mechatronics, or a related technical field. Master’s degree or certifications in automation systems is a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge of robotics, automation, and control systems (e.g., ABB, KUKA, FANUC robots).
- Programming expertise in languages such as Python, C++, ROS, and PLC systems for the control of robotic systems.
- Project management experience with a track record of successfully managing complex automation projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Experience in vendor and stakeholder management, including contract negotiations and ensuring suppliers meet quality and performance expectations.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in battery production, assembly, and packaging.
- Problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and improving robotic systems.
