What you’ll do…
As a Senior Quality Engineer – Cell Formation & End-of-Line (EOL), you will be responsible for ensuring that in-process materials meet technical specifications throughout the later stages of the cell manufacturing process—including baking, electrolyte filling, formation, and end-of-line testing. Your focus will be on maintaining high-quality standards through in-line and off-line testing, supporting issue resolution on the shop floor, and driving continuous improvement in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
You’ll work closely with the IPQC lab and production teams to monitor quality performance, implement robust control plans, and contribute to the development of best practices across Agratas’ global manufacturing network.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee all in-process quality activities across baking, electrolyte filling, cell formation, and end-of-line (EOL) testing
- Monitor product quality using in-line instrumentation such as OCV, IR, charge/discharge systems, and vision inspection tools
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for in-process non-conformities and deviations
- Conduct MSA studies for both in-line and off-line instruments
- Drive key quality initiatives aligned with functional OKRs and operational goals
- Define and implement control plans, SOPs, and test procedures for in-process materials
- Recommend and support the deployment of advanced testing equipment to enhance lab capabilities
- Actively contribute to Process FMEA activities, embedding robust detection and prevention controls
- Continuously improve analysis methods and lab workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure documentation (SOPs, work instructions) is up to date and consistently followed
- Collaborate with internal teams and global sites to share insights and align on quality best practices

The Quality team is a dynamic group working across three areas - company quality, product quality and plant quality. Being a relatively new team, you’ll play a critical part in creating and implementing new processes and help building large scale manufacturing lines from the ground up.
What you’ll bring…
- Strong experience in a manufacturing shop floor and laboratory environment
- Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (experience in prismatic cell formation is a plus)
- Familiarity with in-line and off-line quality instrumentation and testing methods
- Experience with CAPA, MSA, and quality control planning
- Knowledge of SPC, Lean Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 quality management systems
- Ability to coordinate across teams and manage quality-related projects
- Experience working in shift-based or fast-paced production environments is preferred
