What you'll do...

As a CAD Engineer you will be supporting the development of factory layouts and process equipment integration for our cell manufacturing facilities.

In this role, you will assist senior engineers in producing accurate 2D and 3D CAD layouts of production lines, equipment, and building utilities. You will gain hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment and processes are smoothly integrated into the facility, enabling efficient and safe manufacturing operations.

Other responsibilities include:

• Import, update, and organize supplier-provided CAD models into overall factory layouts.
• Prepare drawings and documentation for equipment installation, utilities routing, and construction planning.
• Support design reviews and layout updates based on feedback from engineering and operations teams.

This role will require you to be on-site 80% of the time (4 days/week).

The team you'll join...

The Process Engineering team is a dynamic group working across a range of areas such as electrode, cell assembly, FA&T (formation, ageing and testing), control and automation, manufacturing systems, digital manufacturing, process safety and logistics engineering. Being a relatively new team, you’ll play a critical part in creating processes and help building large scale manufacturing lines from the ground up.

What you'll bring...

• Understanding of technical drawings and design principles.
• Strong attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Familiarity with BIM tools or digital factory design platforms (e.g., Navisworks, Plant 3D).
• Knowledge of manufacturing workflows, utilities, or facility coordination.
