The UK business headquarters is in the Midlands, and we are currently building a battery manufacturing facility in Somerset and looking to compliment, scale and grow our R&D facilities in Abingdon and Coventry with the brightest minds from within the battery and EV sector.

Job Purpose
As Process System Engineer, you will support cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded into products and processes from the earliest stages of development. You will leverage the Stages Process Management tool to model, implement, and monitor business and engineering processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Acting as a quality partner to the business, you will apply APQP principles, drive continuous improvement, and facilitate process transparency and traceability across the organization.

Key Responsibility Areas
- Lead the mapping, modelling, and optimization of business and engineering processes using the Stages Process Management tool
- Ensure process compliance with standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 and Automotive SPICE® through bidirectional traceability and audit readiness
- Maintain and manage interaction points across process activities, ensuring cross-functional alignment and visibility
- Facilitate and lead cross-functional workshops to define and refine process frameworks, including NPI and quality assurance workflows
- Apply data analysis to drive continuous improvement and identify inefficiencies
- Develop and maintain process standards, templates, and best practices within the organization
- Provide training and support to teams on effective use of the Stages tool and process modelling techniques.
- Report on process development status, risks, opportunities, and compliance metrics
- Support integration of Stages with other IT platforms like Microsoft SharePoint, PLM and MES Systems to support seamless process execution
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in using the Stages Process Management tool for modelling and maintaining business processes
- Strong background in process mapping methodologies, including SIPOC and RASIC
- Comfortable working with engineering tool integrations and API frameworks
- Familiarity with regulated environments and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001 / IATF 16949, Automotive SPICE®)
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and facilitating process workshops
- Knowledge of APQP principles and NPI Frameworks and their application in design and manufacturing
- Degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline preferred but not mandatory
