What you’ll do…
As a PMO Technical Project Lead, you will play a key role in delivering digital and system-driven initiatives within a battery cell manufacturing (Gigafactory) environment. You will lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects focused on manufacturing IT systems, data platforms, and digital capabilities that support production operations.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, IT, and data to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while enabling data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Scheduling & Delivery: Develop and manage detailed project schedules for manufacturing IT and digital initiatives, including system implementation, integration, commissioning, and operational readiness. Ensure key milestones are achieved to support production readiness.
- Cost Control & Budgeting: Create and manage project budgets covering IT systems, digital tools, engineering support, and external suppliers. Monitor spend and report on variances.
- Risk & Change Management: Identify and manage risks related to manufacturing systems, data integration, and automation. Control scope and change requests, assessing impact on timelines, cost, and system deployment.
- Performance Reporting & Data Insights: Deliver clear, data-driven reporting on project progress, risks, and performance metrics. Use dashboards and analytics to provide visibility to stakeholders and support decision-making.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, IT, data, and operations to ensure successful delivery and alignment with programme objectives.
- Quality & Governance: Ensure manufacturing IT systems meet performance, security, and compliance requirements prior to deployment and handover.
- Documentation & Control: Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, risk registers, and system records, ensuring a robust and reliable single source of truth.

What you’ll bring…
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and processes
- Proven experience delivering manufacturing IT / digital / system-based projects
- Hands-on expertise in Power BI and enterprise reporting tools (dashboard design, data modelling, performance optimisation, executive reporting)
- Good knowledge of data platforms and architectures (data lakes, data warehouses, data integration, governance, and quality)
- Experience or exposure to AI, automation, or advanced analytics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage across business, technical teams, and senior leadership
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, or similar.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Power Automate, UI Path.
- Experience in PMO or programme roles, ideally within manufacturing or engineering.
