Description:

Purpose of the Role

The Communications Specialist supports the delivery of engaging external communications that build our reputation and bring our story to life.

With a particular focus on external communications, the role is hands-on across content creation, media relations, social media, website content, campaigns and events. It also works across the wider Corporate Communications team, helping stories reach the audiences and channels where they will have the greatest impact.

It is a varied role for someone who enjoys finding a good story, creating great content and then thinking beyond the original brief: if something is worth sharing externally, how could we bring it to life for our people too? And if there is a brilliant story happening internally, how could we share it with the outside world?

The position is based in Abingdon and requires travel to Somerset (regularly).
