The Opportunity
As Senior Programme Manager for LFP Products, you will own the end‑to‑end delivery of our LFP cell programmes in Technology team. Goal is to ensure technical excellence, cross‑functional alignment, and on‑time execution across R&D, engineering, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams.
You will be the strategic integrator who brings together cell design, materials development, validation, manufacturing readiness, and customer requirements into a coherent, executable plan. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex technical environments and enjoys leading multidisciplinary teams toward ambitious product milestones. The role requires regular travel to our site in Bangalore, India.
Key Responsibility Areas
Programme Leadership & Delivery
Lead the full lifecycle delivery of LFP cell programmes from concept → development → validation and play critical role in the industrialisation efforts.
Build and manage integrated programme plans covering scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resource allocation.
Drive milestone readiness, ensuring technical and operational deliverables are met on time and to specification.
Act as the single point of accountability for programme performance and cross‑functional alignment.
Technical Integration & Decision‑Making
Partner closely with R&D, Cell Design, Validation, Materials, Electrochemistry, Process Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure technical coherence.
Translate customer and system‑level requirements into actionable programme deliverables.
Facilitate technical trade‑off discussions and support data‑driven decision‑making.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary interface between R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial teams.
Communicate programme status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership.
Manage customer interactions for LFP product programmes, ensuring clarity of requirements and expectations.
Risk, Quality & Governance
Lead risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution across the programme.
Ensure compliance with internal governance processes, including design reviews, technical gates, and change control.
Support DFMEA, PFMEA, and validation planning activities to ensure robust product quality.
Industrialisation & Scale‑Up
Work with COO’s office to ensure LFP products are ready for scale from Lab to pilot and mass production.
Oversee readiness of equipment, materials, processes, and supply chain for scale‑up.
Support cost modelling, yield targets, and manufacturability improvements.
Job Context
Essential
Proven experience delivering complex technical programmes in batteries, energy storage, automotive, or advanced materials.
Strong understanding of LFP chemistries, cell design principles, and lithium‑ion performance drivers.
Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced R&D or industrialisation environments.
Expertise in programme planning, risk management, and structured problem‑solving.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
Experience with APQP, PPAP, or similar product development frameworks.
Background in cell manufacturing, electrode processing, or materials development.
Familiarity with validation planning, safety testing, and reliability engineering.
Customer‑facing experience in automotive or energy storage sectors.
Role Specific Qualifications/ Certifications
A degree in either a science or engineering discipline, experience of delivery in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
Have a professional project management background with a proven track record of delivery over a minimum of 5 years project leadership roles.
A professional project management certification is desirable.
