  • Deep understanding of battery chemistries and working mechanisms. Strong familiarity with materials, cell components, cell formats, and fundamental design principles.
  • Extensive hands‑on experience operating and interpreting results from cell test equipment and methodologies, including lifecycle testing, impedance analysis, rate capability, GITT, HPPC, and other diagnostic techniques.
  • Strong capability to diagnose performance issues, interpret complex datasets, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations.
  • Ability to structure and manage complex cross-functional activities and projects with multiple stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong understanding of the global battery ecosystem, including raw materials, cell manufacturing and pack integration. Awareness of key players, cost structures, regulatory trends, and technology maturity curves.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with upstream suppliers, negotiate technical deliverables, and manage multi‑party collaborations.
  • Track record of proposing and implementing new approaches, whether in materials, design, testing protocols, or analytical methods.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
